Training

This class is designed specifically for the needs of the civilian firearms owner who desires to carry a firearm in public. The class covers Basic Firearms Safety and Handling; Firearm Selection and Specialization; Modes and Methods of Carry; a detailed review of the  Florida State Statutes; specifically as they apply to carrying a concealed firearm; review of ‘ Castle Doctrine’ and ‘Use of Force’ statutes and laws; and much more. 

Approximately 2 to 3 hours long, this course combines classroom and range instruction with a review of range rules and rules for safe firearm handling. The operation and components of handguns, ammunition, and cleaning & maintenance of firearms.  Also covered is shooting fundamentals, proper grip, and use of sights. Shooting from the two handed standing position and continued opportunities for skill development. 

Course can also be combined with the Florida Concealed Weapon Permit Course (CCW).

This next class of defensive handgun training is specifically designed to pick up from where the Handgun Defense CWFL class ended and continues to expand and fine tune techniques to a deeper level of understanding.   It will introduce you to more advanced techniques of pistol fighting such as: Proper drawing techniques, one handed shooting, non-dominant hand shooting, shooting while moving, shooting while sitting & shooting from prone position.   Course Level: Intermediate to Advance
